cAlliances Terms of Use
cAlliances is a program of Career Actions Network. These Terms of Use govern your use of cAlliances.org and the information, tools, communications, and services available through the website.
By using cAlliances.org, you agree to these Terms of Use.
1. Purpose of cAlliances
cAlliances helps professionals understand and navigate significant change, work with trusted colleagues, and form small Alliances around shared challenges.
The website provides information, research, AI-supported tools, communications, and resources intended to help members learn, collaborate, and act.
cAlliances does not guarantee particular professional, financial, business, employment, or other outcomes.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or participate in an Alliance.
If you create an account, you agree to provide reasonably accurate information and to protect your username and password. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.
3. Responsible Use
You agree to use cAlliances.org lawfully and respectfully.
You may not use the website to interfere with its operation, gain unauthorized access to another person's account or information, distribute spam or malicious software, impersonate another person, violate another person's intellectual-property or privacy rights, or engage in unlawful, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or abusive conduct.

4. Alliances and Member Responsibility
Alliances are self-directed groups. Their members—not cAlliances—make their own decisions and are responsible for their own actions.
Information, ideas, recommendations, introductions, and other communications shared within an Alliance should be evaluated by its members before they act on them.
Members are responsible for deciding what personal, professional, proprietary, or confidential information they choose to share.
Participation in an Alliance does not create an employment, partnership, agency, fiduciary, or professional-advisor relationship between cAlliances and its members.
5. AI and Information
cAlliances may use artificial intelligence and other technologies to help organize information, summarize material, conduct research, support meetings, and assist members and Alliances.
AI-generated information can contain errors or omissions. It should be treated as a tool to support human judgment—not as a substitute for it.
Members remain responsible for decisions they make using information obtained through cAlliances.
6. Professional Advice
Information available through cAlliances is provided for educational and informational purposes.
It is not intended to replace professional legal, financial, medical, tax, investment, employment, or other specialized advice. When appropriate, members should consult qualified professionals.
7. Content You Provide
You retain ownership of original content you provide to cAlliances.
By submitting content where it is intended to be shared with other members, you give cAlliances permission to use, store, process, display, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to provide the applicable cAlliances services.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share material you submit and that doing so does not violate another person's rights or obligations.
8. cAlliances Content
Unless otherwise indicated, content created by cAlliances and displayed on the website is owned by Career Actions Network or used with permission.
You may use that content for your personal and professional participation in cAlliances. You may not sell, republish, reproduce, or commercially distribute substantial portions of cAlliances content without permission.

Continued use of the website after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
